Regional Planning
Regional Planning for a Sustainable Knowledge Corridor
For the Future: Create a Sustainable Knowledge Corridor Regional Action Plan
One of the crucial end products of the Sustainable Knowledge Corridor initiative will be to create a regional action plan which will provide a road map of actionable items that we can take within the region to continue to expand upon the foundation of opportunity available in the Knowledge Corridor in a coordinated and sustainable manner. The development of this action plan will incorporate insights obtained through the two other primary planning tasks:
- Update and integrate existing regional plans to create a knowledge corridor regional plan for sustainable development. We will review, address gaps, supplement, update, and integrate existing plans already done by the three regional planning organizations. Work will include preparing new thematic plan elements where needed. Read more about the plans below.
- Establish a broad civic engagement and public outreach process to ensure diverse participation throughout the project. To learn more about the civic engagement efforts and get involved, view the participate page of this website!
